Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven Director of Public Relations to lead our in-house PR initiatives across multiple brands within our family of businesses. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of media relations—including media monitoring, media mentions, and managing influencer visits—while ensuring brand consistency and enhancing the reputation of our portfolio of brands. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in media engagement, public representation, and the ability to shape and execute PR strategies that amplify brand presence.
Key Responsibilities Media Monitoring & Listening
Develop and manage robust media listening programs to track brand mentions across traditional and digital platforms.
Analyze media coverage for sentiment, trends, and emerging opportunities or threats.
Deliver regular reporting and insights to key stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations.
Media Mentions & Engagement
Cultivate strong relationships with media contacts across relevant industries and verticals.
Proactively pitch stories to secure positive media coverage aligned with brand objectives.
Coordinate rapid response strategies to manage crises or breaking news situations effectively.
Influencer, VIP & Event Management
Lead the planning and execution of on-site influencer and media visits.
Represent our brands at events and coordinate all press activity to ensure successful media coverage and a polished public presence.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all guest experiences and media interactions align with brand values and messaging.
Brand Voice & Executive Support
Ensure all public-facing communications—including press materials, social media, and event messaging—adhere to established brand guidelines.
Work closely with Executives to develop and align messaging for interviews, speeches, and public engagements to ensure consistency in tone and voice across all entities.
Leadership & Strategy
Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies that support overall marketing and business goals.
Partner with internal departments to align PR efforts with product launches, campaigns, and company milestones.
Manage internal PR team members and external PR agencies or freelancers as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
8+ years of progressive PR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong track record in media relations, media monitoring tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision), and influencer relations.
Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic thinker with an eye for detail and passion for storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in hospitality or multi-brand environments.
Familiarity with social media analytics and integrated marketing communications.
Strong crisis communication and issues management skills.
