Overview
Float is a multidisciplinary, full-service interior design studio that creates spaces, products, and interior identities for workplaces, hospitality, retail, residential and commercial environments. Vastly experienced, highly collaborative, and open-minded, our studio builds relationships with clients through in-depth discovery and considered design direction. Responsibilities
Provide both ad-hoc and project specific support to the interior design team. Provide support in vendor coordination through pricing and specification requests, sample requests and product research. Research finishes, fixtures and materials, generating fixture and finish schedules and placeholder budgets based on existing templates Upkeep material and resource library (digital & physical) Gain familiarity with the firm’s brand guidelines, resources, and standards Develop documents and presentations as needed for internal and client reviews (i.e. 3D modeling, FF&E presentation, development of interior elevations, floor plans, and furniture plans) Use Revit and related software to produce construction documents Develop and review detail drawings for construction plans Coordinate with contractors, architects, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success Qualifications
BA Interior Design or related field 1-3 years relevant experience Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, and Bluebeam Experience with AI software a plus but not required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of standard office software (i.e. Google Suite, Slack, Zoom) Legal authorization to work in the US Salary range commensurate with experience and education.
