We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Marketing Manager and Event Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for hosting our experts weekly at our San Diego office and managing the logistics of their visits. The ideal candidate will have prior customer service and hospitality experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record in marketing or event management.

Responsibilities
Lead expert engagement activities in San Diego, including hosting experts and ensuring a welcoming and professional experience, creating a personalized experience for each expert, supporting sessions to ensure that events run smoothly and have been organized to the highest standards, supporting other non‑Team‑Driven events that require expert engagement, and understanding expert roles, processes and tools to communicate and support effectively.
Schedule, coordinate and oversee weekly events, ensuring proper pre‑work to understand study goals, acting as a liaison to product, research and leadership teams, coordinating with the recruitment team for in‑person sessions, scheduling sessions with product and service teams, booking and coordinating travel arrangements for experts (hotel reservations and local contact management, flight reservations, uber or rental car reservations), managing scheduling, tracking feedback, reporting status and performance updates for the on‑site program, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful event outcomes, coordinating with on‑site catering and food service teams, and maintaining ongoing communication with experts and support teams.
Provide additional support to the Expert Experience & Insights team, including supporting and moderating qualitative research, collecting and managing feedback, testimonials, insights and VOE (voice of the expert), and reporting on ongoing expert insights and implications.
Space and event coordination and management: manage the calendar for all necessary rooms, configure and confirm technology specifications for each space and room, maintain full space to ‘event ready’ standards (temperature, furniture, space and technology configuration, access), and manage relationship with on‑site support teams (security, executive assistant team, event planning, facilities, catering/food services, janitorial).
Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience, preferably in customer service, event planning, marketing or management, or customer data and insights.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Proficient with Google and/or Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Docs, Spreadsheets).

The expected base pay range for this position is: Southern California: $93,000 – $126,000.
