Position Corporate Event Planner
Location Morrisville, NC | Remote with travel for critical event
Duration 6 Month Contract
Type W2 contract, paid for hours worked, average 40 hours/week
Pay Rate Range W2 $55-65/hr

A strong commitment to delivering top-tier events from the initial call for content through post-event review, ensuring meticulous planning and execution
Prepare and present program updates
Own registration processes and session builder
Briefing guide development working with cross functional team and data sources (comms teams, data integration, in house creative and marketing agencies)
Critical presentation creation
Lead Client Leader communications including point of contact and office hours
Manage seating arrangements for the in-person event working directly with senior leadership to incorporate thoughtful feedback
Collaborate with the events team in the weeks prior to the board meeting as well as ad-hoc decisions on-site
Own one of three on-site breakout rooms – host pre-session walkthroughs with presenters, facilitate any special requests, sit in on all breakout sessions, and be program point of contact for in-room scribe, AV, presenters, customers, and attendees
Additional role, initiative and group information This role is for a contingency worker to support a Project Manager during medical leave. The individual will be responsible for critical and highly visible customer advisory and executive sponsorship programs supporting our most senior executives and strategic customers, working with a large cross-functional team to ensure strategic outcomes are delivered and impactful events go smoothly. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for all participants, from executives, speakers to customer attendees, by keeping the customer at the center of all planning and execution. Engagement with both internal and external executive stakeholders up to Chief Sales Officer and Chief Executive Officer. High impact work with strong feedback loop.
