The Senior Product Designer, Intuit

Overview The Mailchimp CRM team is looking for a Senior Designer to imagine, create, and leverage new Generative AI concepts, customer obsession, and forward‑thinking patterns to solve problems for small and medium businesses. We are looking for design hackers, pragmatists, and unconventional thinkers to bridge the gap between conceptual design, emerging technologies and platform capabilities. You should be a maker and not afraid to take on complex challenges that lead to paradigm‑shifting ideas. You thrive in ambiguity and are a creative systems thinker. You’ll be part of a design team dedicated to proving and creating game‑changing user experiences that will help power prosperity for our customers and bring customers to the heart of the Intuit platform.

Responsibilities

3+ years of experience in interaction or product design for high‑profile or award‑winning products; preferably experience with SaaS and mobile products

Four‑year degree in Human Computer Interaction, graphic design, or another relevant field

Graduate degree a plus

Strong knowledge of design principles and methods, research methodologies, prototyping and rapid experimentation to quantify product and user behavioral insights

Applying user‑centered design processes while working collaboratively with customers and cross‑functional teams

Ability to convey ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping

Mastery of design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite plus the ability to work within a design system

A well‑presented online portfolio demonstrating your strong craft and collaborative process

Qualifications

Solve customer problems by synthesizing behavioral information and imagining things as they might be, not as they are

Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end‑to‑end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web and mobile platforms

Take ideas and concepts, and visualize them such that they are communicated effectively and compellingly for internal leaders, partners, and customers

Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite the complexity of the system

Conceptualize a broad spectrum of ideas and then narrow based on experimentation and customer research

Directly responsible for delivering User Experience visions, UI specifications, wireframes, and prototypes

Collaborate effectively with other designers, content strategists, product managers, engineers, and researchers

Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews

Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends
