Ci Design, Inc. (Ci) seeks dynamic and vibrant professionals who can share their unique talents and make their mark within our growing and highly collaborative architectural firm.
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Interior Designer. The Interior Designer will assist in design, coordination, production, and development of various commercial interior design projects. This position requires a thorough understanding of current design trends, materiality, drafting, and a high level of experience using Revit, InDesign, and Photoshop software. In addition, this position requires the ability to communicate effectively with the design team and adapt to changes and elect the most effective methods of accomplishing tasks.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Assists on the ideation, conceptual, and schematic design development of various projects.
Participates in the design, production, and construction documentation phases of various commercial projects throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Follows standard drafting practices, and reviews standard reference sources to accomplish design intent, and concise design deliverables and construction documents.
Works with senior staff to coordinate design and address redline revisions for completing design documents or as directed by immediate senior staff.
Works within established project schedules, staff resources, and works efficiently and as directed by an immediate supervisor.
Assists with construction administration, RFIs, project submittals, and project site visits.
Meets project schedules and maintains positive relationships with clients and the Ci Design project teams.
Bachelor’s degree in interior design/interior architecture from a CIDA accredited College or University.
Minimum 5+ years related experience with multifamily, commercial, or hospitality projects.
Proficient in Revit, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketch‑Up, and Microsoft Office Applications.
Ability to multitask, work as part of a team and work independently on multiple projects.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.
Versatile, self‑motivated, and articulate.
Strong organizational skills
Strong interest in continued professional growth, NCIDQ Certified or on track with certification.
Additional graphic and 3D software capabilities are a plus.
