ACPE is recruiting for a Marketing Specialist to join our Communications and Outreach team. The successful applicant will create marketing content for ACPE’s education loans, scholarship and grant programs, and Outreach resources. The Marketing Specialist will manage all of ACPE’s social media platforms, identify and develop strategic stakeholder content to inform and improve awareness and connection to ACPE, in support of ACPE’s Strategic Plan, Mission, and Vision. Responsibilities
The Marketing Specialist will: Create marketing content for ACPE’s education loans, scholarship and grant programs, and Outreach resources. Manage ACPE’s social media platforms. Identify and develop strategic stakeholder content to inform and improve awareness and connection to ACPE. Support ACPE\'s Strategic Plan, Mission, and Vision through communications and outreach efforts. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge: Marketing elements, such as SEO, social media, market research methods Current state and national trends in higher education Current state and national trends in social media development and implementation Education challenges/barriers for low-income and first-generation college-going students, especially those unique to Alaska, its rural communities and native populations Skills: Effective written and oral communications, including summaries and analyses of complex information Fostering and maintaining positive professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders Prioritizing, persuasion, and negotiation Problem identification and resolution MS Office Marketing Software (Adobe Creative Suite) Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners Interpreting communications and applying relevant policies, regulations and laws Ability: Perform high-level data analysis; identify trends and develop charts/graphs Develop strategic content and schedule implementation Manage content and agency engagement Coordinate inter-agency and external stakeholder campaigns Work independently, take initiative, and develop ideas with supervision Represent ACPE, its programs, and partners professionally and accurately Articulate the value of postsecondary education Collaborate across agency marketing/outreach and external stakeholders in support of ACPE\'s strategic plan Minimum Qualifications
Baccalaureate degree in related marketing/communications field or four years of relevant professional experience Directly relevant experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-by-year basis; preference given to applicants with the degree Other Information:
