Department Information Georgia Tech Athletic Associate (GTAA) sponsors varsity intercollegiate athletics competition in 17 NCAA Division I sports. We are a proud member of the Atlantic Coast Conference and strive for national championships.
Job Summary Coordinate audio and visual production for large‑screen displays and live internet broadcasts. Edit and produce athletics‑related video programming for marketing and special events. Facilitate video requests from media and engage contract production personnel. This position interacts regularly with coaches, players, and GTAA marketing personnel, and advises GTAA management.
Responsibilities
Set up and produce images for large‑screen displays within athletic facilities.
Set up and produce live internet broadcasts.
Develop and produce marketing promotions for use at sports events and broadcasts.
Produce and edit highlight and interview videos.
Respond to media requests for archived video content.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements Formal technical training in broadcast communications or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications Five to seven years of job‑related experience.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcasting or Communications.
Skills Non‑linear video editing software, video lighting and composition, camera operation, graphics design.
