Social Media Manager – Hybrid
Location: New York, NY 10001
Pay Rate: $30–35 per hour (W2)
24 month contract
About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Social Media Community Manager & Analyst to join our team for a 24+ month contract at Kiehl's. As the community champion and social trendspotter, you will play a critical role in driving social engagement and brand presence across platforms. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work alongside cross‑functional teams to develop insights and strategies that fuel innovation and ensure brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Listening & Insights : Monitor online conversations, mentions, and sentiment around the brand, products, and competitors; identify emerging trends and proactively share insights with the wider team; track campaign effectiveness and manage brand reputation through actionable insights; collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing and Product Development teams to inform ideation based on social listening data.
Community Management : Support local markets with platform management, community management, and address queries; monitor social network health and update community management guidelines as needed; collaborate with the Communications Team to provide Social FAQs for product launch campaigns; keep global teams informed on the latest social media features, trends, and innovations; ensure brand consistency and legal compliance across local social platforms.
Reporting & Data Analysis : Manage monthly A&I reports, working closely with the Social Media Director to share key insights across the organization; oversee social requests for market adoption and analyze the performance of campaigns using relevant tools; utilize trend analysis tools to support content creation and assist with cross‑functional marketing requests.
Trend Spotting & Content Creation : Daily trendspotting on platforms like TikTok and Instagram to identify emerging trends and content opportunities; create and distribute a weekly trendspotting email blast to all markets; stay up‑to‑date on new social media platforms, tools, and best practices and confidently present important trends to the team.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and algorithms.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Proven experience in community management and social listening.
Trend‑led, connected to culture, and out‑of‑the‑box thinker.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to analyze data to identify insights, trends, and opportunities.
Desired experience with tools like Sprinklr, Traackr, Dash Hudson.
