We are looking for a highly organized and trend‑savvy

Golf Social Media Manager & Content Strategist

to oversee all content scheduling, posting, and ideation for a leading golf influencer. This person should have a deep understanding of the golf world, know what’s trending across platforms, and be able to build a cohesive content strategy that keeps the brand consistent, timely, and growing.

Responsibilities

Manage all content scheduling and posting across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and additional platforms as needed.

Build and maintain a consistent posting calendar that aligns with golf seasons, trends, and key moments.

Help ideate video concepts, challenge ideas, and contribute fresh angles to keep content engaging.

Monitor golf news, viral trends, and social platform shifts to identify timely content opportunities.

Partner closely with the videographer/editor to align production timelines with posting strategy.

Write captions, hashtags, titles, and metadata optimized for each platform.

Track analytics and performance to identify what works and refine the content strategy.

Maintain strong organization across assets, drafts, deadlines, and content pipelines.

Proactively communicate upcoming needs, opportunities, and high‑impact posting windows.

Work independently and execute tasks with little oversight while maintaining consistent output.

Requirements

Strong experience managing social media accounts, ideally in golf, sports, or creator‑driven content.

Deep knowledge of golf culture, trends, major tournaments, players, equipment, and memes.

Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and long‑form YouTube best practices.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage calendars, multiple drafts, and tight timelines.

Strong creative thinking and ideation abilities.

Understanding of analytics, insights, and performance metrics.

Ability to adapt quickly and respond to breaking trends or real‑time golf moments.

Ability to collaborate with a tight‑knit content team while thriving independently.

Bonus Skills

Experience writing scripts or hooks for short‑form content.

Basic editing knowledge to help with quick social cuts or repurposing.

Graphic design or thumbnail creation experience (Canva, Photoshop, etc.).

Familiarity with influencer partnerships or brand collaborations in the golf space.
