Role Description
The Surmount Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the marketing efforts of our organization. This position involves assisting in the development and implementation of marketing content to promote our mission, programs, and events. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with the leadership team to create engaging content, manage social media platforms, and analyze campaign performance. Key Responsibilities
Content Creation: Assist in creating compelling content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, email newsletters, and print materials. Develop written and visual content such as blog posts, infographics, videos, and graphics. Social Media Management: Manage and monitor the organization’s social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. Create and schedule posts to engage with our audience and increase followership. Respond to comments and messages on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner. Graphic Design and Multimedia: Create graphics, illustrations, and multimedia content to support marketing campaigns and initiatives. Use graphic design software and multimedia tools to produce high‑quality visuals. Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather information and assets for marketing materials. Communicate regularly with the leadership team to provide updates on project status and seek feedback. Time Commitment
This is a volunteer position that requires approximately 5 hours of commitment per week.
