Responsibilities
Maintain FF&E plans and elevations based on selections.
Manage presentation materials using Photoshop for client presentations and internal meetings.
Organize and annotate presentations with senior advisement.
Assist in sourcing, documenting, and managing materials.
Coordinate and expedite FF&E orders and specifications.
Conduct product research and source materials for commercial and residential projects.
Design custom FF&E, select materials, and document specifications.
Participate in all main phases of design and complete/punch projects.
Assist with client presentations, lead meetings, and communicate design directions effectively.
Qualifications
7+ years’ experience in a firm.
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
A great attitude with the patience to teach and empower others.
Experience with high‑end/luxury residential projects, specifically single family residential.
Experience managing projects from start to finish.
Work Environment The work environment includes a brand‑new office in Hoffman Estates, housing a dedicated team of 15 professionals. The role requires working in the office five days a week, with flexibility for personal needs. The team has grown from 2 to 15 members over six years and is licensed in 25 states, allowing practice in all 55 US jurisdictions. Projects include amenities, commercial spaces, industrial, medical, residential, and restaurants.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hoffman Estates, IL.
Pay & Benefits The pay range for this position is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00/hr.
