Job Purpose We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer with deep domain knowledge in warehouse technologies including WMS, WES, WCS, automation, and robotics to join our growing team. Technical Writer will play a critical role in translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for internal teams, customers, and partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Warehouse Execution Systems (WES)

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Automated material handling equipment and robotics

Create user manuals, API documentation, SOPs, installation guides, training materials, sales briefs, and release notes

Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and operations teams to gather technical information

Translate engineering specifications and system workflows into accessible content for technical and non-technical audiences

Ensure documentation aligns with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and brand voice

Manage documentation lifecycle using tools like Confluence, MadCap Flare, or DITA-based CMS

Support product launches and system upgrades with timely documentation updates

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or industrial automation

Strong understanding of warehouse technologies (WMS, WES, WCS) and robotics integration

Experience with Agile/Scrum environments and version control systems (e.g., Git)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, or IoT platforms

Experience documenting RESTful APIs and data integration workflows

Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in warehouse environments (e.g., OSHA, ANSI)

Working Conditions Hybrid work environment with occasional travel to customer sites or facilities. Collaboration across office, warehouse, and manufacturing settings. Working in office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities. Working in a stationary position for an extended period. Moving or traversing for an extended period. Possible exposure to noise levels exceeding recommended DBA levels.
