What You’ll Do
Lead the design of high‑end residential architecture, interiors, and landscapes with support and direction from the Principal Architect through sketching, 2‑D drafting, and 3‑D modeling in Revit and SketchUp.
Develop and direct clear, compelling visual presentations including InDesign layouts, Enscape 3‑D renderings, diagrams, and other materials to communicate design intent.
Conduct site visits and site analysis to understand opportunities, constraints, and project context.
Research, interpret, and apply building codes, zoning regulations, and HOA requirements to ensure project feasibility and compliance.
Explore and evaluate materials, technologies, and construction strategies that support Skyterra’s design vision.
Serve as a direct point of contact for clients, guiding them throughout the design process and representing the Skyterra brand with clarity and confidence.
Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, vendors, building departments, and HOAs to keep projects aligned and moving forward.
Organize and collaborate with internal team members including design assistants, project coordinators, and interior designers, ensuring clarity around roles, milestones, and deliverables.
Develop and contribute to construction documents that align with design intent and firm standards.
Prepare, track, and maintain project communications—including emails, meeting notes, RFIs, and approvals—to create a clear record of decisions.
Maintain organized digital project files so information is easy to find, share, and reference.
Participate in construction observation, including responding to RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, coordinating site meetings, and helping ensure construction aligns with drawings and design intent.
Help manage project timelines, foresee risks, and communicate proactively to support successful outcomes.
Contribute to ongoing refinement of Skyterra’s design and documentation standards by exploring new tools, workflows, and best practices.
