Community Manager

Location: Chase Crossing Apartments – 1800 Smith St, Logansport, IN 46947

Job Type: Full‑Time – Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Pay Rate: $50,000 – $55,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals, ensuring a highly engaged team provides a great experience for residents.
  • Process community staff payroll.
  • Ensure collections of all rental monies are received and deposited; process invoices and purchase supplies.
  • Maintain occupancy at least 98%, review rental applications, and maintain positive relationships with owners and residents.
  • Complete move‑out paperwork, perform move‑out, annual, and housekeeping inspections, audit resident files, and submit required reports.
  • Maintain the community to company standards and perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience as a residential property manager with HUD/Section 8 a plus; or 3+ years in a general manager role with people leadership and process management.
  • High School diploma or associate’s degree (COS, LIHTC, HCCP, AHM preferred).
  • Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional resident service.
  • Deadline‑driven with attention to detail, compliance, and quality.
  • Computer skills, fluent with Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi a big plus.
