Job Title

On‑Air Personality (Part‑time) – Audacy, Inc., Wichita, KS. Reporting to Brand Manager. Work arrangement: On‑Site.

Overview

Audacy Wichita seeks a part‑time fill‑in On‑Air Personality, must live in Wichita. Prior radio experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
• Communicate with co-host, producer and program director to ensure program goals are met.
• Interact with the audience on‑air and via social media.
• Maintain strong contacts and relationships with local sports brands and across the sports industry.
• Create content for website and social media channels.
• Prepare and research for broadcasts.
• Protect brand with FCC license.
• Ensure promotions and contests are executed properly.
• Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts.
• Other duties as required by management.
• Knowledge of Kansas‑area Sports and National Sports.
• Entertainment value with content creation.
• Sales coordination with clients.
• Be able to work weekdays.

Qualifications

• Synergy with co-host and ability to work on a multi‑host sports show.
• Excellent communicator with strong creative skills.
• Knowledge of the format and audience required.
• Demonstrated track record on‑air or through digital media.
• Knowledgeable of FCC guidelines.
• On‑air experience.
• Available for weekday shows on an as‑needed basis as a fill‑in host.
