Overview Join to apply for the Spanish Freelance Writer role at TransPerfect . DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking several Spanish (US) Freelance Writers to produce high‑quality content. This opportunity is part of an innovative project that uses creative contributions to test and improve Machine Translation technology. Task Summary Writers will be required to complete 1 short story of approximately 6,500 words. The task begins with submitting a brief plot for approval. Once the plot is approved, writers will submit the first 1,000 words of the story for review. Upon approval of the initial excerpt, the writers can resume and complete the story within the specified timeframe. Revisions may be required based on feedback received. The short story must be in one of the following genres, assigned based on the writer’s selected preference: Kids Thriller/Mystery Self‑help Romance Memoir/Autobiography/Biography – can be on anyone the writer chooses, even a made up person. NOTE: AI tools are not allowed for creation. All submitted content will be reviewed for plagiarism and AI usage. Work must be written entirely independently.
