Responsibilities:
- Lead teams in applying UX principles throughout the product lifecycle, promoting collaboration and a culture of continuous learning.
- Lead engaging training programs and UX workshops to enhance team skills.
- Utilize design tools to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to convey design ideas and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct user research and analyze preferences through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Incorporate feedback from users and partners to refine designs, creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, and lead design iterations to enhance user experiences.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business objectives, designing visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with brand standards and improve user experience across devices and platforms.
- Prepare and review user personas, journey maps, and other user experience documentation to support design processes.
- Ensure brand consistency by overseeing that designs align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends in UX design, coaching team members to continually enhance design practices.
- Teach usability testing methodologies to assess design solutions, analyze outcomes, and iterate to improve usability and user satisfaction.
- Apply proficiency in product design and prototyping tools and possess in-depth knowledge of user testing software.
Company:
- Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals: one hour for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise mandated by law.
- The anticipated salary range for this position is $95,000 – $155,000, with compensation varying based on location, certifications, education, and experience. Note that the disclosed salary range may be adjusted according to any applicable geographic differential associated with the job location.
- This role is eligible for a discretionary incentive award, which depends on the performance of both the company and the individual.
