Learning Management System Administrator & Designer
Our client, a leader in the power sports industry, is seeking an experienced LMS/LXP Administrator & Instructional Designer for a 12+ month contract assignment in Plymouth, MN. This role is hybrid with three days per week onsite (Tuesday – Thursday).
Job Summary The LMS/LXP Administrator and Instructional Designer role is a unique opportunity to blend technical and creative skillsets. This role configures, manages, and maintains the online learning platforms for optimal efficiency and ease of use, supports the employee based platforms as technical SME’s for Strategic Sourcing. As a contributor to the Instructional Design team, you will also identify training curriculum for internal employees and supply base partners that results in increased knowledge, productivity, and engagement. A strong background in Project Management serves as the foundation for both aspects of this role.
Project Management
Continually enhance methods based on best practices in the industry, emerging technologies, vendor resources and products, business unit requirements and expectations, and feedback from learners
Autonomously scope, prioritize, and implement projects
Employ continuous improvement tools to identify and document best practices and streamline processes
Develop and deliver user communication on platform and course updates
Ensure projects meet cost, timeliness, and quality requirements
Learning Management System Administration
Manage user accounts, load course content, and configure system settings
Create training resources to guide users and proactively address FAQs
Troubleshoot technical issues related to the LMS and user accounts by working with vendor and internal teams
Provide direct correspondence and support for learner email inquiries
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert with business unit leaders to create effective and understandable curriculum configuration structure
Track, analyze and consult on training metrics via reports
Instructional Design, eLearning Course Development, and Implementation
Create and maintain engaging eLearning content to communicate complex learning concepts effectively for internal employees and supply partners
Develop objectives, content outlines, and evaluation criteria for learning solutions
Provide support and leadership to stakeholders that develop and deliver training
Structure courses to integrate seamlessly with software, LMS and LXP Platforms
Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in training and development, instructional design, educational technology, computer science or a related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years LMS Administration and Instructional Design experience
Preferred Corporate training and development experience
Powersports or Supply Chain experience preferred
Design, develop, and deliver Global Strategic Sourcing training programs for various levels of Sourcing Leaders, managers and employees and Suppliers.
Lead projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes pertaining to Administrative and Instructional design responsibilities.
Working knowledge of the following software
Microsoft Suite
Storyline, Articulate 360, Rise, familiar with AI Applications.
Adobe Creative Cloud: Captivate, Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier
SCORM and xAPI
Microsoft: Power BI, Power Automate, Forms preferred
Experience working with IT teams, LMS integrations, and APIs
Capable of working on multiple priorities in a fast paced, self-directed, and changing environment.
Top Skills/Requirements
Administration background (experience with Latitude, Workday or Degreed is a plus)
eLearning content and instructional design experience (creating Articulate or Rise courses)
Project management skillset (strong communication, organization, and prioritization)
Preferred Background

Pay Rate $43.07- $45.07 per hour.
