Runyon Saltzman & Einhorn, Inc., Rancho Cordova, California, us, 95741
About Us
We are a forward-thinking PR, marketing and advertising agency dedicated to driving results through data-driven strategies, bold storytelling and creative, and meaningful, impactful engagement. From healthcare and nutrition to education, economic development, and long-term sustainability, our work supports clients who make a difference. We thrive on collaboration, curiosity, and creativity — and we’re committed to exceeding expectations while doing work that matters.
We’re looking for a Paid Media Strategist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll help lead digital advertising efforts across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and more, with a focus on both strategy and execution. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of strategists, analysts, creatives, and client partners to drive performance, tell compelling stories through data, and deliver measurable results.
Job Summary As a Paid Media Strategist, you will plan, launch, optimize, and report paid search and paid social campaigns across a range of social impact and education-focused clients. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys digging into performance data, and wants to see your work have real-world impact, we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage paid media campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, and LinkedIn.
Conduct audience and keyword research, build campaign structures, write trafficking instructions, and support creative recommendations.
Optimize campaign performance based on key KPIs such as CTR, CPC, conversion rate, and cost-per-lead.
Translate data into insights and present findings to internal stakeholders and clients in clear, compelling ways.
Lead tracking setup and analytics support, including confirming pixel placement, building and validating UTMs, and translating performance data into actionable insights. (Google Tag Manager knowledge a plus).
Participate in client meetings to present campaign performance, discuss strategic recommendations, and respond to platform-specific questions.
Develop and deliver client reports that translate performance data into meaningful insights, supporting strategic discussions and next steps.
Stay current on platform changes and performance media trends, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
What We’re Looking For
3–5+ years of hands‑on paid media experience, ideally within an agency or performance marketing environment
Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, YouTube Ads, and Meta Ads Manager; LinkedIn Ads experience a plus.
Experience managing multiple campaigns and client priorities simultaneously.
Familiarity with analytics tools like GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio (or similar dashboards).
Excellent communication skills — verbal, written, and visual — with the ability to build trust through clear insights and recommendations.
Self‑starter mindset, collaborative attitude, and a strong sense of accountability.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint, for reporting and client presentations.
Bonus: Experience working with higher education, government, or social impact clients.
Work Environment This role is primarily based at our Rancho Cordova office, with a hybrid schedule of four in-office days per week. We believe that sharing space helps us move faster, collaborate more deeply, and stay connected to the mission behind our work — especially when serving clients in government, education, and public health. We also recognize the value of focused, flexible time and offer one remote day each week to support individual productivity.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
Meaningful work with mission‑driven clients
A collaborative, creative team that values data, empathy, and excellence
Competitive salary + bonus opportunities
401(k) plan with employer match
Generous paid time off, 11 holidays, and paid parental leave
Professional development support and room to grow
To Apply Send your resume and a brief cover note to hr@rs-e.com. We’d love to hear about a campaign you’re proud of — and why.
