Job Summary
Position Overview The Grant Writer & Grant Manager will play a critical role in supporting DSGSH’s fundraising strategy by researching, writing, and managing grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources. This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about youth development and social justice, and who can produce high-quality proposals in a small, mission-driven organization. This is a part-time, contract position requiring approximately 5 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify new grant opportunities that align with DSGSH’s mission and priorities.
Write compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports for funders.
Maintain and update the organization’s grants calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Track and manage post-award reporting requirements and deliverables.
Collaborate with the Founder & CEO to gather program data, impact metrics, and success stories for use in proposals and reports.
Assist with preparing budgets and supporting documentation for grant submissions.
Help build and maintain relationships with funders, partners, and stakeholders.
