Your Role at a Glance:

The key ways you'll bring value to the team Search is changing. Founders now trust LLM answers, not blog posts. At Wayflyer, we’re building a content engine designed for authority, discoverability and commercial depth. As our Content & Research Strategist, you’ll lead it.

This is not content marketing as usual. You’ll own flagship, data-led content like research reports, playbooks and founder deep dives that drive pipeline, power SEO, feed AI surfaces and build brand trust.

You must be able to run data-led stories independently. That means scoping the idea, querying the data (with or without analyst support) and turning it into world‑class editorial. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership from start to finish.

What you'll own

Owning the production of 30 to 50 page research‑grade content including playbooks, POVs and deep dives

Turning proprietary Wayflyer data, interviews and market trends into commercially useful insights

Structuring content arcs that work across SEO, LLMs, social, PR and sales enablement

Collaborating with Design and Video to spin content into blog posts, landing pages, email flows, shorts and decks

Interviewing customers, founders and internal experts to extract high‑signal narratives and quotes

Refreshing legacy blog content and bringing it up to LLM and SEO standards

Setting and upholding a 10 out of 10 editorial bar with clear, specific, persuasive, and fluff‑free content

What Makes You a Great Fit

3+ years in content, research or editorial roles with a focus on B2B, fintech or SaaS

Proven long‑form execution including 10,000‑word guides, industry reports and deep editorial storytelling

Confident interviewing operators, executives and founders with strong instincts for sharp quotes and angles

Clear editorial structure with a focus on setup, insight and recommendation

Strong sense of what makes content rank, resonate and convert

Hands‑on with dashboards, spreadsheets and scraping tools. You don’t need to be an analyst, but must be data self‑sufficient

Enthusiastic about AI tools like GPT, Jasper or Claude to move faster without sacrificing quality

How You’ll Stand Out

Experience with CMSs (Sanity, WordPress), SEO tools (SEMRush/Ahrefs), or web analytics (PostHog, GA4)

A portfolio of standout content that blends data, storytelling and commercial relevance

An instinct for how LLM search is evolving and how to build content that surfaces on AI‑driven discovery platforms

What to Expect After You Apply You can expect to hear from a member of our Talent Acquisition team soon. If we believe you're a good fit, the first step will be a conversation with a recruiter who will guide you through the next stages of the process. The full interview process, which includes meeting the Hiring Manager and completing a case study or interview loop, typically takes approximately 3-4 weeks.
