What you will do:
Coordinate and respond to inventoryback-order inquiries from OneSource Distributor’s team members
Perform open purchase orderfollow-up with suppliers to manage delivery expectations
Maintain Eclipse purchase order expected dates per current vendor data including changes transmitted electronically via Vendor Managed Inventory, Electronic Data Interchange 855 PO Acknowledgement Review Queue, website, or email
Assist in weekly FUR (Follow Up Report) for key customer
Coordinate with purchasing team sourcing alternatives when existing partner stocked items are unavailable
Manage item substitutes in Eclipse, prioritizing existing products within inventory from partner vendors and new alternatives as they are purchased to meet availability expectations
Manage lead time dates and comments oncustomer-facing website or reports per the current procedure
Review manual lead time settings in Eclipse per guidelines and direction from Purchasing Manager
Assist in order entry when neededCoordinate incoming shipments with receiving department to ensure ample space is available, follow up on orders delivered that have not been system received within 24 hours of delivery
Participate in various customer meetings as needed to support expediting activities
Providebackup support to purchasing team as directed by Sales Operations Manager
Proactively engage in ongoing personal development to ensure product, system/digital tools, and interpersonal communication skills are meeting expectations of the current role
What you will bring:
High school or equivalent diploma
Knowledge of Cal OSHA
Clear and concise communication skills
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Occasional lifting and pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Forklift and stock picker trainer
Mix of warehouse and office work environments
Location:
This role is based in San Diego, CA
Work hours:
7:00am – 3:30pm (or 6:30am – 3:00pm)
Salary Range:
This is a non-exempt position and pays between $20.87 - $27.82 per hour. This salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, within California. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
