Optimized Process Designs LLC 1 day ago – be among the first 25 applicants The Associate Expeditor will work onsite at our headquarters in Katy, TX partnering with the Purchasing and Production groups. The role focuses on expediting specialized purchasing for Valves, piping, civil/structural, raw materials, and major equipment to support construction activities. What you will do
Compile and maintain an open order report of procurement purchase orders. Initiate and maintain contact with suppliers until final shipments are received. Monitor project delivery timelines and ensure purchase order delivery dates are met. Request verification of deliveries on procurement orders as required. Track progress of approval drawing process. Review open purchase order commitments and adjust to support customer delivery requirements. Notify project managers and buyers of delays and coordinate around challenging deliveries. Provide regular updates to the production team on materials needed for fabricators. Contact suppliers to resolve issues, ensure on‑time delivery, product quality and adherence to cost. Assist accounting in resolving supplier invoicing discrepancies. Communicate and distribute documentation to support timely receiving procedures. Act as the single point of contact for receiving issues within warehouse, field units, and fab shops. Create end‑to‑end visibility of order status in INFOR by adding internal notes per line. Other duties as assigned. Who you are (Basic qualifications)
Expediting experience. Experience working with an ERP system similar to SAP or Infor. Experience with Microsoft Excel. What will put you ahead
General knowledge of piping materials. Experience supporting internal clients. Compensation
