Cast Film Extrusion Operator

Key Responsibilities
Operate state‑of‑the‑art plastic extrusion equipment to produce high‑quality specialty films.
Monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain the line.
Participate in the operator training curriculum and complete assignments required for certification.
Change plastic extruding machines, set up per production line changes following work orders, and examine products for nonconformance.
Maintain raw material (resin) levels to keep the extruder fed with the resin mixture.
Perform housekeeping and preventative maintenance tasks to keep equipment in good operating condition.
Work effectively with supervisors and co‑workers, helping expedite changeovers and improve processes.
Identify needed changes and make recommendations for continual improvement.
Schedule Work only 15 days per month using our unique 2‑2‑3 schedule with 12‑hour static shifts.
Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Nights: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am; Days: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
Essential Qualifications
Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
1–3 years of plastic extrusion experience.
Basic computer knowledge.
Previous manufacturing experience.
Compensation & Benefits
Wages ranging from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
Additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential.
