Key Responsibilities

• Operate state‑of‑the‑art plastic extrusion equipment to produce high‑quality specialty films.
• Monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain the line.
• Participate in the operator training curriculum and complete assignments required for certification.
• Change plastic extruding machines, set up per production line changes following work orders, and examine products for nonconformance.
• Maintain raw material (resin) levels to keep the extruder fed with the resin mixture.
• Perform housekeeping and preventative maintenance tasks to keep equipment in good operating condition.
• Work effectively with supervisors and co‑workers, helping expedite changeovers and improve processes.
• Identify needed changes and make recommendations for continual improvement.

Schedule

Work only 15 days per month using our unique 2‑2‑3 schedule with 12‑hour static shifts.

• Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Nights: 6:00 pm – 6:00 am; Days: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm

Essential Qualifications

• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of plastic extrusion experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Previous manufacturing experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• Wages ranging from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
• Additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential.
