Responsibilities Communications & PR tasks
Drafting web articles and creating featured graphics
Researching award opportunities, tracking results, and coordinating delivery and installation of trophies/plaques
Coordinating tickets and attendance/RSVPs for sponsored industry awards and events
Scheduling media interviews with senior leaders
Monitoring and tracking trends (e.g., Google rating, social media engagement)
Maintaining YouTube and Vimeo video channels
Uploading and refreshing intranet content for employees in Workvivo
Updating the WorkvivoTV dashboards displayed across the company’s offices
Supporting senior team members with tasks like writing internal and external-facing content, posting approved content, monitoring our social media comments/messages, reporting, and facilitating requests from other departments
Marketing tasks
Managing user accounts/logins for our digital asset management (Bynder) and branded merchandise (HALO) systems
Facilitating uploads to and orders from our online print collateral store
Maintaining brand resources, helping others find and use them
Identifying and completing file cleanup within Bynder (e.g., archiving outdated portraits)
Scheduling professional photography for individuals, properties, and teams
Researching products, systems, and vendors
Supporting senior team members with website updates in Wordpress and Wix, basic graphic design requests, brand resource management, reporting, and facilitating requests from other departments
Event tasks
Performing research and organizational tasks prior to events (e.g., maintaining registration lists, reviewing emcee scripts for clarity, printing speaker notes)
Helping with event-day logistics for our corporate events including Roers Cos. annual employee conference, groundbreaking and grand opening celebrations
Helping with planning and organizational tasks for quarterly construction awards events
Reviewing event presentations and handouts
Printing and ordering materials, helping with inventory management
Supporting senior team members with pre-event, on-site, and post-event tasks to create an exceptional participant experience
General team/administrative support
Maintaining department documents and webpages in intranet platform
Updating department standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Organizing and managing special projects, as needed
Providing backup coverage to marketing and communications team members
Other general administrative and organizational support for the department (e.g., making reservations for a team holiday lunch, scheduling Director’s meetings with leadership, coordinating team’s property tours and video shoots with local/on-site employees)
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, project management, business, or similar field
1–3 years’ experience in marketing, communications, project management, event support, graphic design, and/or executive assistant role
Meticulous attention to detail and organization
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Creative thinker and tenacious problem-solver
May require up to
5% travel
Compensation and Benefits for Marketing Coordinator: Pay Range:
$50,300 - $69,200
Compensation is determined by several factors that vary depending on the position, including the individual’s experience, skills, and the knowledge they bring to the specific role.
