Job Description Join a dynamic and national architectural design firm dedicated to creating inspiring architecture for retail, commercial, and multi‑family needs. Our team‑based approach ensures that regardless of location, everyone feels part of a unified team. We are looking for individuals with commercial, grocery, and retail experience, particularly within urban markets, who possess strong collaborative communication skills. If you are passionate about contributing to design, coordination, and production of construction documents throughout the project lifecycle, we would love to meet you.
Responsibilities
Evaluate materials, building products, constructability, and processes.
Produce detailed construction documents for projects.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Refrigeration, and Structural disciplines.
Develop and assist in client and peer presentations.
Attend project and studio meetings.
Build, develop, and maintain client relations.
Assist in solving production issues.
Ensure the success of projects.
Review architectural designs, production documents, and construction change directives.
Conduct site scopes, observation trips, and generate field reports.
Essential Skills
Professional accredited degree in Architecture.
Ability to understand and communicate complex functional and aesthetic issues in architecture.
Engage in creative and critical thought with effective graphical communication.
Strong communication, problem solving, and presentation skills.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is critical.
2‑7 years of commercial project experience with REVIT.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Desire to work in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
Detail‑oriented with a commitment to confidentiality and sensitivity of information.
Ability to assist in architectural research, document/design development, peer consultation, and program‑wide implementation efforts.
Drive to research and utilize technology in architectural applications.
Licensure support through study materials and reimbursements.
Internal training seminars with multiple lunch n’ learn sessions.
Work Environment Located in the Phoenix office, the work environment is collaborative and fast‑paced, leveraging advanced technologies such as Revit and AutoCAD. The firm is employee‑owned, fostering a culture of shared success and professional growth.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 – $55.00/hr.
