We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist and Junior Developer to join our dynamic Marketing team. This hybrid role is critical for driving marketing success through the execution, deployment, and analysis of high-quality digital assets, with a primary focus on responsive HTML email development and marketing automation.

Essential Functions HTML Email Development & Marketing Automation (Pardot Focus)

Code and Deploy:

Design, code, test, and deploy pixel-perfect, accessible, and responsive HTML email templates for various campaigns (e.g., newsletters, promotions, automated journeys).

Platform Management:

Utilize Pardot for list segmentation, dynamic content setup, A/B testing, and campaign journey configuration.

Quality Assurance:

Rigorously test email rendering across a wide range of clients and devices using tools like Litmus to ensure flawless execution.

Campaign Strategy:

Maintain the email content calendar and collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage timely review, approval, and deployment schedules.

Analysis & Reporting:

Track key email analytics and report campaign performance to management, providing data-driven recommendations for process and engagement improvements.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to email rendering, platform errors, and campaign deployment.

Junior Web Development & CMS Maintenance

Front-End Development:

Write clean, well-structured, and standards-compliant

HTML5 and CSS3

for web content, landing pages, and smaller components.

CMS Integration:

Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining website content, modules, and pages within our Content Management Systems ( Craft CMS experience preferred ).

Digital Assets:

Assist in the preparation and optimization of digital assets for the website using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).

Source Control:

Manage and maintain development work using version control systems such as

Git .

Collaboration:

Partner closely with creative, marketing, and technical teams to translate campaign objectives into functional digital experiences.

Documentation:

Maintain clear, concise documentation for technical processes, code changes, and platform configurations.

Continuous Learning:

Stay current with emerging email development standards, web technologies, and marketing automation features.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 1+ years of practical experience in front-end development, email marketing, or a related technical role.

HTML Email Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in responsive HTML Email Development, including knowledge of table-based layouts and addressing email client quirks.

Core Languages: Proficiency in HTML and CSS (including modern, responsive design techniques).

Marketing Automation: Hands‑on experience with Pardot (Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) or a comparable Enterprise Marketing Automation Platform (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).

Design Fundamentals: Basic design skills and familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator) for asset preparation.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass/Less) or front‑end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).

Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) for both web and email.

Basic knowledge of SEO best practices.

Experience with Craft CMS.

A relevant degree or certification in a technical or marketing field.

Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Job Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel Little to no travel is expected for this position.

Education and Experience A bachelor's degree and or equivalent work experience.
