Marketing, Media, and Communications Coordinator

to join the Marketing and Public Relations team in Moreno Valley. This position collaborates with RUHS departments to develop campaigns and produce communication materials that promote programs and services to internal and external audiences. Tasks include creating flyers, advertising signage, newsletter articles, social media posts, and talking points.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate public outreach activities and internal messaging for service lines.

Design and produce newsletters, flyers, brochures, short videos, and photo events.

Assist in planning and implementing marketing, media/communications services, campaigns, and events.

Develop marketing or media program communications content and/or digital production content.

Prepare and negotiate contracts and memoranda of understanding with county departments and public agencies.

Develop budgets and cost estimates for clients; negotiate contracts and MOUs with other jurisdictions.

Design and coordinate all aspects of marketing communications; direct technical and artistic development of multimedia presentations.

Plan production schedules; select and direct cast, narrators, and personnel involved in media or digital productions; edit or supervise editing of media and printed communications materials.

Recommend purchase of departmental marketing/media equipment or communications systems; collaborate with county units to support training and community outreach.

Act as a consultant to management regarding public relations and marketing aspects of the department’s programs.

Desired Qualifications

Proficient in graphic design, photography, videography, and video editing.

Skilled in creating and editing social media videos.

Experience managing social media accounts and analyzing performance metrics.

Proficiency in advertising strategies and media buying.

Strong writing abilities for articles and scripts.

Familiarity with branding principles and developing marketing campaigns.

Knowledgeable in Canva, Mailchimp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe products (Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop).

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, healthcare marketing, healthcare communications, marketing communications, advertising, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Three (3) years producing marketing, public relations, and/or healthcare education communications programs and campaigns, including copywriting, production planning, directing, and editing.

Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for up to two years of the required education on the basis of 30 semester or 45 quarter units of specified coursework.

Schedule and Compensation Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm with a 9/80 schedule. Occasional after‑hours work may be necessary for special events. Remote work options may be available up to two (2) days per week, subject to department approval and completion of required training.
