Digital Marketing Support Specialist – Patterson Pope
SUMMARY:
The Digital Marketing Support Specialist will work on various marketing initiatives in supporting strategy and execution. The position will leverage multiple marketing automation and analytic tools.
Core Functions
Content Marketing & Development:
Assist in the development of content, creation, execution, and analysis process.
Collaborate with creative teams to produce engaging digital assets.
HubSpot certified in content marketing and develop keyword research, content creation, and SEO skills.
WordPress certified to create, edit, and optimize all digital content.
Conduct keyword research, outline creation, writer communication, content editing, and SEO.
Email Marketing:
Build and run email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, automation, and A/B testing.
Analyze performance metrics and make data‑driven improvements.
Develop, analyze, and optimize nurture sequences and other email automation tactics.
SEO:
Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices supporting content strategy.
Optimize website performance, landing pages, and user experience to maximize conversions.
Analyze website performance.
Achieve certification in multiple SEO management tools – including BrightEdge.
Paid Ads:
Help implement our paid ad strategy (including Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn advertising).
Optimize paid ad campaigns for lead generation.
Organic Social Media:
Plan and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and grow audiences.
Analyze and optimize to expand reach, increase followers, and improve lead generation.
Partner with sales team to help build sales enablement strategies geared towards lead generation.
Sales & Marketing Alignment:
Work with sales team to align marketing and sales to accelerate traffic, lead, and sales generation.
Support the development of marketing strategies for new product or service launches.
Support communication and alignment with sales, creative, and vendor product teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred.
Experience using marketing automation or CRM preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong computer skills.
Creative problem solver.
Team-oriented.
Self-starter.
Computer skills: familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access) and experience with marketing automation software and CRM systems.
Education/Experience Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. One to two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
