Position Overview
Specialty Lab Technician III - Fine Arts - Theatre Production Design. The incumbent operates equipment including lighting, sound, technical theatre applications of computers and tools. Designs lighting and sound for productions; sets up equipment; oversees/participates in scenery production. Provides input on department planning, maintains records, and has knowledge of methods, equipment, and current technologies.
Type of Position Full‑Time – Monday through Friday (may include occasional evenings and weekend hours depending on performance schedule and department needs).
Salary Hourly: $25.41 – $31.79. Monthly: $4,405.00 – $5,510.00 (based on 40 hrs/week). Initial placement is Step A or B.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Two years college‑level training with specialized coursework in a specialized area.
Experience: Two years related experience, including computer hardware/software troubleshooting.
