**What You'll Do:**

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation skills and sound judgment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location, including areas that house sensitive technology and media equipment, in accordance with client requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for individuals entering secure areas, helping to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident and activity reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Assist with crowd control and manage disturbances as necessary to help to maintain order on the property.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as site-specific instructions relevant to the technology, media, and telecom environment.

**Minimum Requirements:**

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
