Role Description
This is a full-time in-person role for a Custom Kitchen/Cabinet Drafter based in Naperville, IL, with the possibility of occasional remote work. The Kitchen Drafter will oversee the creation and design of luxury custom kitchens and cabinetry, collaborating closely with clients, designers, architects, and contractors to ensure designs meet their specific preferences and requirements. Responsibilities include drafting MUST have knowledge of AutoCAD, (Must be willing to learn Mozaik Software),drafting and reviewing design plans, providing guidance to the design team, and managing design projects to completion with a focus on quality and detail. The role also involves maintaining strong communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and adherence to timelines.
Qualifications

- Do you have tangible proof that you KNOW cabinetry?
- Strong design skills in custom cabinetry and kitchen layouts, including the ability to create and interpret detailed design plans.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to build relationships and meet client expectations.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in designs and finished products.
- Ability to understand and enhance functionality while aligning with aesthetic preferences of clients.
- Proficiency in AUTOCad necessary, Mozaik will be necessary.
- Experience in project management and leading a team is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with 5-7 years working and drawing in this field.
- Knowledge of materials and construction techniques used in luxury woodworking is advantageous.
