Weichert Co is hiring a Social Media Manager/Graphic Designer in Morris Plains, NJ. The Social Media Manager/Graphic Designer will assist with the day‑to‑day planning, execution, reporting and research related to the implementation of the social media strategy and for driving the company’s brand presence across all platforms, such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, while ensuring brand consistency and advancing our mission to offer a seamless real estate experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute daily operations and initiatives, including editorial calendars, content development and engagement with users.
- Oversee development of social‑specific content across all media channels, ensuring brand priorities are met (images, video, copy).
- Work with the creative team to develop measurable objectives and innovative strategies for expanding Weichert’s social media presence.
- Ensure branding consistency across all platforms and campaigns.
- Contribute to rebranding efforts as needed.
- Work directly with stakeholders and SMEs to understand business needs and goals to create impactful messaging.
- Develop specific, measurable objectives and innovative strategies to build the company’s social media presence and advance the brand and message.
- Manage and maintain a library of content assets that speak to target audience and drive engagement.
- Set up and optimize social media pages to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and design innovations.
- Prepare and present design concepts and rough drafts to internal teams and stakeholders for review.
- Maintain templates, personas, mockups, user flows, prototypes, and other design assets for assigned projects.
- Ensure all assets meet brand guidelines and are up to date.
- Identify and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for organic and paid advertising campaigns.
- Monitor social activity for brand and service issues requiring immediate attention and adhere to crisis communications plans.
- Support employee and agent engagement efforts through social media to amplify their roles as company advocates.
- Create presentations on social media best practices for internal training/education.
- Remain immersed in emerging technologies/media and competitive landscape to determine scalable trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or a related field, or proven experience as a Social Media Manager with a focus on content creation.
- Portfolio on request.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a social media capacity, preferably with retail or consumer packaged goods brands.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in graphic design and print production with proven brand work skills.
- Experience managing social media initiatives in a corporate setting.
- Passion for social media with strong knowledge of platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Metricool or other planning tools.
- Experience in video editing and animation for social media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Canva.
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing, editing and interviewing.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with a user‑centric design approach.
- Ability to adapt communication style to audience and prepare messages for multiple audiences.
- Knowledge of corporate social media legal guidelines and platforms.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment.
- Creative and strategic thinker, self‑motivated.
- Proven social media and networking expertise with high engagement KPIs.
Salary & Benefits
Base salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
