Keys to Success Music is looking for an early childhood music teacher to guide our youngest musicians (ages 3–5) through their first steps in music.

Children at this age are full of energy and soaking everything in around them. Musical experiences shape neuromusical pathways that support language, emotional self-regulation, coordination, and social connection for life.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 3–5
• Strong singing voice; musical background preferred.
• Ability to move comfortably and model physical activities.
• Must pass background check.
• Weekend availability is a plus.

What you'll do

• Teach play‑based, developmentally appropriate music lessons for children ages 3–5, mostly in small groups.
• Lead activities that combine singing, movement, rhythm patterns, instrumental exploration, and musical storytelling.
• Create a warm, nurturing environment where young children feel confident, cared for, and eager to explore.
• Use curriculum and training provided by KTSM, with room for you to bring your own creative flair.
• Communicate warmly and clearly with parents about their child’s progress.
• Maintain classroom flow, manage transitions smoothly, and support children in self‑regulation skills.

Who you are

• You genuinely love working with preschoolers
• You understand that kids this age learn through play, repetition, rhythm, and emotional connection.
• You have basic musical ability (singing with accurate pitch is essential; piano or ukulele is a plus).
• You're comfortable managing groups of young children gently but confidently and unafraid to sing, dance, be silly, or tell stories.
• You’re reliable, responsible, and excited to grow with a creative, mission‑driven studio.
