We are looking for an innovative, forward-thinking, and highly skilled Lead Production Designer to join our Creative Production & Asset Management team. This person will be a self-motivated and open-minded candidate with solid visual design capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of how brand can express themselves across printed and digital brand ecosystem.

As part of the manager, creative operations , you will...

· Maintain relevance on current and future innovations with experience in testing and implementing process change, plus ability to develop and integrate new strategies in response to changing circumstances and technologies.

· Be well-versed in design intention and production requirements, communicates concerns and questions in a thoughtful, constructive manner.

· Create design systems, design templates and best practices for large scale print-ready and/or digital assets.

· Participates on cross-functional teams to improve process and technical understanding.

· Collaborate closely with marketing team members, stakeholders, to create concepts that meet their goals and expectations.

· Have a solid understanding of design principles and best practices specific to print (e.g. typography, color theory, layout, information hierarchy).

We'd love to hear from people with:

· 6 to 10-years of experience designing across print, print production, and/or web experiences at consumer-focused brands, agencies, or color house.

· Experienced in deciphering and delivering artwork against technical specifications, ink/special treatments, color separations, print-ready art required.

· Portfolio that showcases your contribution to print-ready art and/or consumer facing experiences and demonstrates originality, innovation, and strong problem-solving skills.

· Strong conceptual thinking and understanding, ability to think strategically how design systems and templates work will impact automation and technical systems.

· Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products (Adobe Experience Manager Assets experience is a plus) and Figma.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
