Job Overview Part‑time faculty are expected to teach introductory marketing courses including Introduction to Marketing, Fundamentals of Consumer Behavior, and Fundamentals of Marketing Research.
Adjunct faculty members will: (1) use Canvas and any required textbook‑specific systems; (2) hold regular office hours to meet with students and respond to communications; (3) participate in at least one professional development workshop per year; and (4) teach to the approved course learning outcomes and requirements.
Essential Functions
Teach assigned undergraduate courses on a part‑time basis.
Continuously evaluate student coursework using best practices.
Respond to all university‑related and student communications in a timely manner.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Education A Master’s degree in marketing, an MBA with a concentration in marketing, or another discipline‑appropriate graduate degree.
Required Experience At least five (5) years of relevant professional marketing work experience is required if holding a Master’s degree in marketing.
At least ten (10) years of relevant professional marketing work experience is required if holding other discipline‑appropriate graduate degrees.
Additional Qualifications Considered Teaching experience in a college setting.
