About the Role eBay seeks a dedicated product marketer to lead inbound product marketing and outbound go‑to‑market strategy for Advertising experiences. You will partner cross‑functionally with product, design, research, marketing, communications, customer service, and sales/market teams to craft value propositions, positioning strategies, and tool adoption plans.

What You Will Accomplish

Develop and deliver key strategies to attain business objectives with impact.

Own the product value proposition narrative and go‑to‑market strategy for Advertising products, ensuring customer success on eBay’s platform.

Influence product roadmaps by synthesizing market, customer, and competitive insights, building audience segmentation and opportunity sizing.

Create customer feedback loops throughout product and marketing development to refine the narrative and value proposition.

Develop product value propositions, narratives, customer messaging, naming, and external proof points.

Manage go‑to‑market strategy and launch planning, leading through channel experts to ensure execution and impact measurement. Track customer engagement, product adoption, and business success.

Identify internal product‑market fit metrics; synthesize customer feedback to provide actionable signals across the product lifecycle.

Set benchmarks and monitor progress toward goals for product launches and in‑market growth of existing products or services.

What You Will Bring

5+ years of experience in product marketing.

Strong track record developing product and go‑to‑market strategies at e‑commerce companies with a consumer mindset.

Proven ability to drive innovation and execute projects with excellence.

Successful collaboration with cross‑functional teams and excellent communication skills.

Strong data analysis skills and experience with customer research techniques.

Compensation & Benefits Base pay range varies by location: in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Metro, and Seattle Metro: $132,000 – $176,200. For all other U.S. locations: $90,400 – $157,000. Total compensation may include a target bonus and restricted stock units (where applicable) and a range of benefits (401(k), PTO, parental leave, etc.). Salary offers depend on location, skills, and experience.
