Event Marketing Consultant
This is a remote, contract role and remote, but you must be located in the Bay Area in order to events in person and come into our office as needed.
Responsibilities
Execute end-to-end planning and logistics for internal and external company events, meetup/hackathons, happy hours, sponsored trade shows, and virtual events
Drive weekly core team meetings, including workback plans and budgets.
Establish event activities in line with sales goals and deal acceleration
Manage contractor relationships, including event production firms and outside vendors, and event budgets
Align with growth marketing on marketing campaigns and marketing qualified lead (MQL) reporting
Track event campaign performance, measuring ROI, results, and metrics through Hubspot
Interface with external executives and their teams in order to secure speakers and support their presentation planning for hosted events and conferences
Willingness to travel in order to support these initiatives, provide on-site support as needed
Team with internal and agency stakeholders as one team to produce great events.
Manage vendor relationships, handle purchase orders, payments and tracking expenses.
Qualifications
5+ years professional experience, 3+ of which in event marketing or event management
Experience fully managing and executing events ranging from 30 to 500+ attendees
Experience with Hubspot and other event and demand gen tools
Ability to manage and multi-task on multiple projects and events while liaising across internal teams with multiple stakeholders
Impeccable attention to detail and proactive approach to troubleshooting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you will be interfacing with the world’s leading executives and their teams
You are located in the Bay Area with availability to attend local events and come into SF downtown office as needed
