Your Role And Responsibilities As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for helping establish and drive design for some of our core products. You should enjoy solving complex problems and delivering simple and intuitive solutions to a technical customer. This is an exciting opportunity as you will be a critical member of the team.

What you will do

Design intuitive, aesthetically pleasing interfaces for complex vector database systems

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into compelling developer experiences

Go beyond the user interface and help design our broader Developer experience, with inputs to ecosystem integrations, docs, sample apps, and our API

Advocate for high quality design standards and consistency across developer touchpoints

Work directly with external developers to intimately understand their workflows, and what gets them into flow states

Rapidly iterate on design solutions in a fast-moving startup environment

Preferred Education Master's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

You have a robust portfolio showcasing excellence in visual and interaction design

You consider yourself an full stack designer–capable of working in early stage discovery through measuring product success

You’re equally adept working with a team, and operating autonomously

You’ve got a technical background (ideally in developer tools), letting you design effectively for technical, sophisticated audiences

You thrive in dynamic startup environments where the pace of change is as fast as the technology evolves

You get energy from talking to your users

Understanding of when to make short-term tradeoffs to ship early, and when to refine the details

An excellent communicator who understands when to use async communication, and when to make decisions in real-time
