THE OPPORTUNITY The IntegratedMarketing Project Manager will coordinate and drive the day-to-day delivery of creative and marketing work across Deseret Book’s channels. Reporting to the Creative Director, with dotted-line accountability to the Marketing Director, this role leads by influence (no direct reports) and partners closely with Creative and Marketing teams to move projects from intake through completion. As the operational hub for the creative workflow, this person will maintain schedules and deadlines in Asana, facilitate approvals, and help manage the company’s digital assets—ensuring files are organized, labeled, and stored with proper metadata so assets are easy to find and deliver to spec. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial to open/view files, make minor edits or updates, and catch potential errors early.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 50% Project Coordination & Execution

Full Project Lifecycle Coordination: intake/request triage, task creation, timelines, dependencies, routing, approvals, change tracking, QA, and final delivery.

Manage Specifications Alignment: Manage work across print, digital, web, social, OOH, retail, events, and video; ensure channel-specific specs are documented and met (sizes, formats, color profiles, aspect ratios, codecs).

Oversee Workback Schedules: Build clear workback schedules with stakeholders; keep status current in Asana (projects, portfolios, templates, forms, automation rules, reports).

Identify & Manage Risks: Identify risks/blockers, elevate promptly, and communicate updates to stakeholders and leadership.

Conduct High-level File Reviews: Perform light file checks and minor edits in Adobe (e.g., replace images, update copy, adjust simple layout elements) to keep work moving and catch issues early.

30% Operations, Workflow & Asset Management

Drive Workflows: Apply and help improve standardized workflows (intake forms, templates, checklists, DACI) to support on-time, high-quality delivery.

Status Management: Run regular status rituals (stand-ups, updates) and maintain shared calendars, dashboards, and capacity views in Asana.

Manage Digital Assets: Follow taxonomy, naming conventions, and metadata standards; ensure organized ingest, versioning, archival, permissions, and rights/usage documentation.

File Coordination: Coordinate file handoffs to internal partners and vendors; validate specs for print, large-format/OOH, web, social, retail screens, and video.

20% Cross-Functional & Partner Collaboration:

Cross-team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Creative Director, Marketing Director (dotted line), Art Director, Lead Copywriter, Lead Graphic Designer, Brand/Social, eCommerce, Retail, Events, and Video teams to align priorities and dependencies.

Approvals Facilitation: Facilitate communication and approvals among stakeholders; consolidate feedback and keep tasks moving.

External Partner Alignment: Support collaboration with external agencies and production partners by tracking timelines, deliverables, and feedback cycles for seamless handoffs.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

2-4+ years of marketing project management, creative operations, or traffic coordination experience within an in-house brand or agency.

Strong experience with Asana (required): project and portfolio setup, custom fields, forms, automation, templates, reporting, and day-to-day administration.

Working understanding of multi-channel creative production across print, digital, web, email, social, OOH, retail, events, and video, including common specs and delivery requirements.

Digital asset management basics: taxonomy, metadata, file naming, version control, archival, permissions, and rights/usage documentation; familiarity with DAM/PIM tools is a plus.

Working familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (strongly preferred): able to open/view InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator files; perform minor edits/updates; use preflight/check links; and spot potential spec or layout issues (bleeds, color profiles, safe areas).

Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization; able to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines with high attention to detail.

Clear communicator and facilitator; comfortable leading by influence across dotted-line relationships, consolidating feedback, and driving accountability.

Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset; experienced maintaining SLAs and reporting on core delivery metrics (on-time rate, throughput, stakeholder satisfaction).

Competent in QA/proofing workflows and tools; committed to error-free, spec-compliant deliverables.

Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools; familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus.

Basic knowledge of print production, web/digital asset specs, large-format/OOH requirements, and video deliverable considerations.

Plus: certifications (CAPM, Agile/Scrum), experience with resource/capacity tracking, vendor coordination, and cross-team intake/governance.

Plus: familiarity with our mission and audiences to help prioritize and guide work effectively.
