Job Description We are seeking an Architectural Designer with 3-10 years of experience to support schematic design (SD), detailed design (DD), and construction documents (CD) for commercial projects. This person should have a knowledge of the design process, construction documentation and construction administration, and have a strong knowledge of material, detailing, and systems coordination. Candidates should have experience working on commercial ground-up projects.

Job Duties

Manage, review, and produce SD, DD and CD documents for projects of varying sizes/types

Perform construction administration duties

Participate in setting office graphics and construction standards

Influence and help guide firm culture

Qualifications

NAAB Accredited Architecture Degree (B.Arch or M.Arch)

Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Architect/Designer in a firm

Strong knowledge of the design process, construction documentation and construction administration

Strong knowledge of commercial construction, zoning and building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems

Strong knowledge of material, detailing, and systems coordination

Strong knowledge and experience in Revit

Competence with AutoCAD, SketchUp

Hand drawing skills and BIM experience; Lumion and AutoCAD skills are a plus

Experience or interest in supporting marketing (RFP, RFQ, presentations, etc.) efforts is a plus

Authorized to work in the U.S.

Work Environment This company is based in Downtown Denver. It is a small firm that focuses on PK-12 schools, master plans, and commercial projects, primarily serving the community.

Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
