About the role
LHH is working with a Silicon Valley client in the Life Sciences space to recruit a Digital Marketing Specialist on a 6+ month contract basis. This part‑time role is about 30 hours per week, onsite in San Jose three days a week. The specialist will support a high‑performing digital marketing team, advocating for content needs in marketing automation, social media campaigns and web content optimization.
Responsibilities
Support a high-performing, B2B digital marketing team by tackling a variety of support tasks and campaign management duties.
Aid in preparing automated email campaigns in Marketo, aligning content with campaign goals.
Work with the social media team to aid in content calendar management, scheduling and optimization for campaigns in Hootsuite.
Serve as a project coordinator for the team as needed, working cross‑functionally between digital, design, content and similar teams to ensure campaign assets are organized, aligned and prepared for deployment.
Partner with department staff and leaders to support other work in web content management, campaign optimization and similar, as needed.
Qualifications
2+ years of professional digital marketing experience with experience in email, social and integrated campaigns, ideally B2B.
Experience in the life sciences industry, required.
Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred.
High level of proficiency with marketing technology tools, including automation experience with Marketo or HubSpot, Salesforce or similar CRM tools and project management software.
Experience with WordPress or similar CMS and HTML/CSS, preferred.
