Vice President of Sales and Marketing
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Fanimation will spearhead the sales and marketing efforts, driving strategic initiatives to expand market presence, achieve sales targets, and ensure high levels of customer retention and satisfaction.
What You Will Do:
Strategic Sales and Marketing Leadership : Develop and execute tailored sales strategies for each channel to achieve revenue goals.
Key Account Engagement and Customer Relationship Management : Engage key stakeholders across all primary sales channels, optimize sales outcomes, and maintain satisfaction.
Team Leadership and Development : Provide oversight and leadership to the sales and marketing team, fostering high performance.
Product Development Influence : Work closely with product development to provide market-driven input on new products and features.
Trade Show Management : Partner with the Director of Sales to oversee trade show activities.
Executive Leadership : Partner with peer executive leadership to develop strategic direction and resolve critical issues.
What You Bring:
Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role in consumer goods or manufacturing.
Extensive experience managing sales across diverse channels (lighting showrooms, big-box retailers, ecommerce platforms, electrical distributors, hospitality sector).
Proven track record in managing and expanding relationships with big-box retailers such as Lowe’s.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to motivate, influence, and negotiate.
Strong problem-solving abilities and quick diagnosis of complex issues.
Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.
Ability to utilize advanced digital tools for sales management and CRM.
Strong leadership skills in strategic planning and execution.
Resilient and adaptable, with a proven record of leading change.
Education / Certifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or relevant field required.
MBA preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit for long periods of time.
Frequent use of computers.
Frequently will stand and walk.
Occasionally climb, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
