Job Description

Associate Director, U.S. Marketing, Community and Ecosystem Engagement Lead (CEEL) Field Execution for HIV. This role is a customer‑focused marketing leader who drives field execution of brand strategy for our HIV products. The position reports to the Director, PMO HCC/AHP and collaborates closely with the Customer Agile Team, CEEL Leadership, Sales Planning, Learning & Development, and Brand Communications. The Associate Director will analyze customer engagement effectiveness, use data analytics to generate insights, and loop critical customer insights back into the organization to evaluate performance and identify opportunities.

About the HIV Business Unit

Our company has advanced science for the treatment and prevention of HIV for more than 35 years. The HIV Business Unit includes three inline products, one product under FDA review, and an active research pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Lead customer engagement and execution activities aligned to brand strategy.

Partner with the CAT and CEEL Leadership on all aspects of preparation, planning, and ongoing integration related to product promotion, customer engagement, and execution.

Collaborate with CEEL Field and L&D to identify and prioritize training and development.

Lead field‑based segmentation and targeting activities, tactical plan development, and KPI implementation/monitoring.

Leverage customer insights and engagement data to maximize execution.

Develop execution resources.

Maintain ongoing bi‑directional communication between CEELs and the brand team to ensure continuous integration, share insights, and maximize customer engagement efforts.

Plan, coordinate, and lead brand team engagements with CEEL field (meetings, strategy reviews and training calls, etc.).

Education Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent preferred.

Required Experience And Skills

Minimum 5 years in Pharma/biotech or 4 years in strategic U.S. Health Care Professional (HCP) marketing or U.S. field sales.

Strong project management skills, demonstrated by prioritizing activities, optimizing resources, setting deadlines, and ensuring on‑time delivery.

Strong written and verbal communication skills demonstrated through strategy & marketing business case communication, sales interface, direct customer engagement, and/or sales presentations.

Experience modeling exemplary behavior and setting high standards as a sales team leader or indirect manager, inspiring and motivating team members to exceed sales targets.

Proven ability to drive sales execution.

Strong experience in providing exceptional customer engagement.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional leadership teams, aligning organizational objectives and driving successful outcomes.

Experience as an extended team member in brand or sales specific projects and initiatives.

Ability to contribute to a positive team culture.

Preferred Experience And Skills

Experience in HIV.

Sales manager or learning and development/training experience.

Agile experience.

Work Arrangements U.S. Hybrid Work Model: Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office‑based positions in the U.S. will work a hybrid schedule of three total days on‑site per week (Monday‑Thursday) with Friday designated as a remote‑working day, unless business‑critical tasks require an on‑site presence. This model does not apply to field‑based, facility‑based, manufacturing‑based, or research‑based positions. The forefront depends on the job requirement.

Salary and Benefits Salary range:

$139,600.00 - $219,700.00 . The specific pay within the range will be based on relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and other business factors.
