Executive Director, Influencer
Starpower is seeking an Executive Director, Influencer to join our growing team. In this role you will be a key strategic partner to account leads and cross‑functional teams, bringing creative, culturally relevant influencer strategies to life for top‑tier healthcare and consumer brands.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with senior leaders across starpower and Real Chemistry to elevate influencer marketing strategy across client portfolios.
- Interpret client briefs to develop insight‑driven influencer approaches that drive measurable business results.
- Collaborate closely with creative and analytics teams to integrate storytelling, talent, and platform thinking.
- Develop compelling, integrated influencer plans using a mix of earned, owned, paid, and shared tactics.
- Oversee execution of complex influencer programs, including sourcing, contracting, FTC compliance, reporting, and optimization.
- Bring a trend‑forward, culturally relevant lens to all work—constantly identifying fresh ways to engage audiences through talent partnerships.
- Contribute to agency thought leadership by identifying influencer and social trends and turning them into actionable POVs.
- Serve as a mentor and coach to junior and mid‑level team members, helping them grow their strategic thinking and executional confidence.
- Provide senior‑level strategic counsel to clients and agency partners on influencer campaign design and execution.
- Participate in and lead key client conversations—from initial ideation to final presentations, feedback, and campaign recap.
- Lead development of influencer POVs and proactive recommendations that address evolving client needs and cultural shifts.
- Act as a subject matter expert in planning sessions, brainstorms, and cross‑functional team meetings.
- Support business growth efforts by contributing to proposals, presentations, and pitch strategy.

• Passionate about talent and influencer storytelling—especially in the context of healthcare, wellness, and consumer behavior.

What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in influencer marketing or a related strategic communications role, with a strong foundation in integrated campaign planning.
- Proven success building and executing influencer campaigns that drive measurable impact.
- Experience across earned, paid, and shared influencer strategies—including paid media planning in support of talent campaigns.
- Strong client communication skills and comfort presenting to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Experience managing influencer marketing tools (e.g., CreatorIQ, Traackr, Julius, Brandwatch).
- Familiarity with healthcare marketing, compliance requirements, and working with regulated brands is a strong plus.
- Ability to lead and inspire junior talent while also rolling up your sleeves and driving work forward.
Pay Range
$150,000‑$190,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
