Event and Marketing Coordinator
Reports to : Marketing Supervisor Summary : We are seeking an Event and Marketing Coordinator to support our internal marketing initiatives, company events (i.e. tradeshows, sponsored events, etc.), social media efforts, and digital content strategy. In this role, you will help strengthen company culture, boost employee engagement, and enhance brand awareness by assisting with content creation, social media management, and website updates. You will play a key role in planning and promoting company-sponsored events, including industry trade shows, employee appreciation events (in collaboration with our fun committee), networking functions, and customer engagement activities. Your ability to create compelling written and visual content across multiple platforms will contribute to our overall marketing success. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years’ experience, a passion for event coordination, and strong organizational skills. You should be comfortable working with social media platforms, website content management systems, and basic design tools to support branding initiatives. This role requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners, including SEO specialists and event vendors, to ensure successful marketing campaigns and event execution. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, coordinate, and promote company-sponsored events (i.e. tradeshows, sponsored events, etc.), including industry trade shows, employee appreciation events (in collaboration with our fun committee), networking functions, and customer engagement activities. Assist with staffing coordination, logistics, and promotional materials for trade shows and corporate events to maximize brand presence and lead generation. Support pre-show marketing efforts for industry trade shows and assist with post-show engagement, including surveys and lead tracking, to evaluate event success. Collaborate with internal teams to contribute to presentations, promotional materials, and event branding that align with company objectives. Assist in executing internal marketing initiatives to strengthen company culture, boost employee engagement, and enhance brand awareness. Support the development and execution of social media content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement. Update the company website with news, events, product updates, and promotional content while coordinating with an SEO partner to improve digital visibility and website traffic. Create compelling written and visual content for social media, website pages, marketing campaigns, and internal communications. Provide general support for marketing and branding initiatives as needed. ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Additional duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job does not supervise any employees. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design or a related field. 1-3 years of experience
in marketing, event coordination, social media management, or a related role.
Skills & Qualifications: Ability to assist with
event planning & coordination
(including trade shows & company sponsored events). Strong
organizational skills
with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows and company events. Basic knowledge of
social media platforms
(LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube). Experience with
website content management systems
(e.g., WordPress). Strong
written and verbal communication skills
for creating engaging content. Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with
marketing tools
like Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms. Basic knowledge of
email marketing platforms
(e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is a plus.
