Marketing & Business Development Specialist – Technology Regulatory Practices

Washington, DC. Reporting to the Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager, Washington office. Core Responsibilities

Lead the production workflow for The Data Chronicles video podcast, managing scheduling, editing, copy drafting, and release timelines. Contribute to integrated marketing campaigns to raise profile and awareness with existing and potential clients. Draft and distribute marketing communications, host seminars and client events, handle CLE trainings, develop client-facing materials, support external conference attendance, produce newsletters, and manage web and social media content. Create and maintain targeted mailing lists for newsletters and events. Compile directory and award submissions. Promote practice capabilities and activities across the firm through internal newsletters, active participation at team meetings, and intranet site maintenance. Support relationships with membership associations and programs, evaluating sponsorships and opportunities and managing participation to ensure return on investment. Co‑lead sector or practice‑led pitch opportunities and liaise with the global Pitches and Pursuits team for RFP responses. Develop and maintain a suite of standard targeting materials, including credentials documents and experience lists. Support event coordination and execution of sponsorships, seminars, receptions, and other marketing‑oriented events. Assist with wider M&BD projects and participate in the firm’s global Responsible Business program. Qualifications

Proactive self‑starter with strategic insight and meticulous attention to detail. Demonstrated understanding of marketing and business development processes. Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous projects. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Collaborative and team‑oriented. Independent execution of campaigns and assigned projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills with compelling writing ability. Pragmatic, diplomatic, and resourceful, able to adapt quickly to varying situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Five (5)+ years of relevant experience, preferably in legal or a professional services sector. Knowledge of and interest in the technology industry is highly desirable. Experience with international organizations or other multinational law firms or corporations. Bachelor’s degree required, with a focus in marketing, communications, or related field preferred. Hours & Compensation

Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., core hours including lunch. Hybrid schedule: four days in the office and one day remote. In Washington, D.C., the annualized salary range is $79,000 to $110,000, with full‑time employees eligible for a discretionary bonus and fringe benefits as currently offered.
