Digital Content Producer

This position requires you will be responsible for the day-to-day production of our linear and digital platforms. This position will also work closely with the Digital Manager, Executive Producers, and Assignment Desk on the stations' websites and social media sites. In this position you will determine the content and flow of the sites and pages and work with management to generate and write stories.
Qualifications
Must be a self-starter
Have strong writing and editing abilities
Excellent project management and communication skills
The ability to meet short deadlines, multitask, and work well under pressure
Solid news judgment is key
Knowledge of AP style a plus
Computer skills
Strong understanding of web technologies
Professional‑working knowledge of social media platforms and engagement are required
Microsoft Office and Adobe CS Suite skills needed
Video editing skills a plus
Experience
Must have at least 2+ years previous news producing or web producing experience at a commercial TV station.
A Journalism degree is preferred

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $17.50 to $18.74 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
